The company offers an investment advisory and portfolio management service. Each customized account is designed to be consistent with the Client’s individual risk tolerance. The company develops an investment plan and manages the client’s portfolio with the goal of identifying the best asset classes and mix of those asset classes in which to invest, the most efficient Exchange Traded Funds (“ETFs”) or other investments to represent each of those asset classes, and to identify the appropriate time to rebalance or make other changes in an effort to maximize the return potential for the client’s risk tolerance.
Clients grant the company discretionary authority to manage client assets in the account(s) the client chooses to have the company maintain. The company makes these investment decisions while the client retains custody of the assets.
In addition to the investment advisory and portfolio management services the company offers, clients are also able to access a client portal in order to utilize specific software-based financial planning tools as a part of their agreement. This portal allows clients to build upon their unique financial situations to create various future scenarios for their investment goals, such as retirement, funding for college or a home, repaying loans, credit cards, or other debts, or other financial planning scenarios that would typically require the client to utilize an in-depth discussion with a financial planner to create.

The Team
Joe always enjoyed math in school and since his first finance class in college has loved the analytical aspects of working with numbers in various financial settings. He continues to work full-time in his career as an owner of a civil construction company and has always had an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to help others. These two forces came together nicely with McTaggart Capital, where he can help others work toward achieving their financial goals through his own small business.
When not working, Joe enjoys traveling to experience new cultures and explore the world. He has been to more than 50 countries and is always ready for the next adventure!
